Support the film and movement

Your tax deductible contributions will enable us to finish the film and use it as a tremendous tool to bring about positive changes for Louisiana and beyond.

We have already recorded extensive footage of all aspects of the campaign and legal battle at the State Capital. A professional editor with 30+ years experience started working fulltime on the project August 3, 2026

We are raising funds to help cover the cost of the remaining production and post production work, and to further design and unleash a massive social justice impact campaign that uses the film and related materials to inspire, educate, organize and mobilize.

Remaining production cost include: filming stylized sit-down interviews with the primary characters and capturing additional vérité footage of Calvin Duncan actively engaged in his advocacy, legal, and community work. Post production work includes editing, sound design, music licensing and visual storytelling elements such as graphics and animation.

All donations are tax deductible though our fiscal agent - New Orleans non-profit Video Veracity a 501(c)(3) established in 1993 to support independent filmmaking. Donors will be acknowledged in the film credits and on our website.

You can donate at the link below or checks can be mailed to Video Veracity 3020 Royal St, New Orleans, LA 70117
